Anyone who needs an invitation letter, LOC visa desk (firstname.lastname@example.org) will arrange it. You need to provide exact dates of your arrival/departure flights and also a scanned copy of your passport ID page (the page with your picture) to the LOC visa desk from this web page.
We strongly recommend participants to require their invitation letter by each person. Please do NOT duplicate the requirements for the letter, otherwise we may skip someone because of confusing. Note that we will NOT issue the invitation beyond the ORCA meeting period (basically, 1-5 June, 2018).
To Naha Airport, there are direct flights from Taipei, Hong Kong, Shnaghai and Seoul. Also, you can find many Japanese domestic flights from major Japanese international airports, such as Fukuoka, Kansai, Centrair (Nagoya) and Tokyo (Haneda or Narita).
To Naha city center from Naha Airport, you can use Monorail (15-20 min, nearly 300 yen), Limousine (10-15 min, 230 yen), Bus (10-20 min, 230 yen) and Taxi (10 min, 1300-2000 yen). Note that no Uber service is available in Japan.

In June, Naha is in the rainy season. The typical minimum & maximum air temperatures in June are 22 and 29 deg C.
You will find so many restaurants/dining bars/Cafe with Japanese and/or international cuisine. There are also many restaurants that serve local Okinawan foods, including Beefsteaks. But if you have dietary restrictions, please confirm the ingredients; for example, pork is commonly used in Okinawan foods.
